I love this stuff. Ive been in business 17 years and from get-go I have used this material. I don't want to use anything else.

the only reason I gave a 4 and not 5 stars, I do like a few others better, but this is a great and inexpensive film for us decorators

PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE ECONOPRINT

Since the email came announcing econoprint to be discontinued we've been actively trying other t-shirt plotter materials with full disappointment. So far, nothing weeds as simply and quickly as EconoPrint. The sticky films cause production to slow down while we fight with the sticky film to keep it from sticking to the person working with it and everything else on the table at the time. We've also printed the inside of letters onto apparel accidentally because small bits stick to the sticky film and often go unnoticed. This item being discontinued is having us have to rethink offering single shirt orders. If the production of a small order of shirts can't be cost effective in time it defeats all purpose to offer the service.
I'd like to see EconoPrint stay around or find a film that is more similar to it when cutting and weeding but I haven't found it yet.

We use this for the bulk of our work. Don't put a stick back you will never be able to stack your work. Great for production runs.
Perfect Product, use as Directed

This product is perfect for large images. I use it all day long for team names and numbers. Weeds fast and clean, you can stack an entire team roster without them sticking together. A real time & money saver in my shop!

The biggest flaw with this material is the non sticky back. It is very difficult to keep the material in place on tshirt and moves out of place on very slight movement. Also, even if the cut is perfect, while weeding some corners would peel off the backing paper and if you continue to press the peeled off part will show a different color. I use their other papers, compared to this their thermoform is much better. and the best paper so far i found is Imprintables (is it also part of stahls?) spectra ecolfilm. Econoprint has good thickness but it is a pain in the A to use it. while Ecofilm is very thin but it is easy to work with. I am not sure there is a workaround for this problem and i guess others are using a swing away heat press?

I remember when a started to use econoprint on the application instruction was recommended to"RESEAL" or press again 3 OR 4 SECONDS.. after peeling.but now I don't see that.. please explain

I do love this vinyl. It is easy to weed, but I lose a lot of small cuts. If it had a sticky back it would be a superior product. Plus its only a 6 second press!
Econoprint is a great Bang for the Buck

This product is great for the price, I love it. It doesn't have the sticky backing so I dont recommend small defined designs, but I got better at it. If you cut it just right(increase force on cutter) its perfect and the sticky backing you dont really care for anymore. Play with it until you get it right. I love the product, the price, and Stahls. You cant beat their prices anywhere.
On the fence with EconoPrint

I love the feel and look of the Econoprint but theres one thing that makes this product loose its points. What is it? Well it's the lack of a sticky backing. If you aren't right on with your cut you better hope you don't pull up the wrong section because you can not reposition it to stay on the backing and this makes it difficult and time consuming.
