Owns a Hotronix Heat Press

This film is not as easy to use as most other Stahl's products. You must follow the instructions carefully both for cutting and applying. I tried it on some Personal Flotation Devices that were not flat. In order to get good contact on the curved surface of the product, I had to apply more than the recommended pressure. That was my downfall. I would advise using this on flat products or products that conform the the curve of the platen, for example in a cap press. Using more than the recommended "light" pressure caused adhesive migration between the carrier and the film, making it very hard to peel the carrier without pulling the film off the product.

Great Product but so thin i needed a carrier sheet

This is an amazing film for durability but had problems cutting it with it get caught up in my cutter. I solved it by using a carrier sheet. BTW im using a graphetec ce6000-40 cutter.

 Great Item!!

I used the Stahls directions and had no problems with this item. I been making jackets and my competition is still trying to figure out how i'm doing it without the letters falling off. This is the best kept secret.

 Problems with nylon jackets
Reviewed by Karen Savage 5/25/2012 5:53:43 PM

Stahls Precut custom design using Gorilla Grip II for application on nylon jackets has been a nightmare! I tried the process 2 sec/320 etc. This does not work. I was told to remove water resistant surface with alcohol. This does not work. I will not use this material in the future.
